Continuing to develop their interesting story from the day when Amar Bose began repairing radio sets all those years ago, Bose do certainly have form when it comes to innovation (think noise?cancelling headphones, for instance, or the L1 speaker system), and they seem to be continually striving to bring us new ideas. So, instead of reading the manual, or installing the battery, or checking out the Bluetooth connectivity and so on, I just stood it on the floor and put some music through it — and I have to tell you that the sound level this little speaker can produce is both surprising and impressive, and there’s no lack of bottom end either! The S1 Pro has a three?channel mixer with two identical inputs for microphone or line?level sources, and a third channel for line?http://www.goataxiservice.com/wp-content/plugins/formcraft/file-upload/server/content/files/1626c430a18dac---campbell-hausfeld-hv2002-manual.pdfonly (via a mini jack) or Bluetooth input. The EQ is basic but effective enough, with just two controls — fixed treble and bass — and there is a small slide switch for recalling a ToneMatch preset for guitar or voice. The presets are a good way to start setting up the S1 Pro in any given space, and are intended to be used when connecting a mic or instrument directly to the S1 mixer inputs, rather than when using it as a PA speaker fed from an external mixer. There’s an on?board reverb processor available to channels 1 and 2, and this has one simple level control for each input. It works nicely and would be useful in adding a bit of character in a very dry venue. This channel also serves as the Bluetooth input, and there’s a pairing button for establishing connection with the source device. Once connected this proved very stable, and it is a very convenient feature — anything that does away with cables (and works properly) is good for me. One application where this feature came in very handy was at a school performance, where the student’s music teacher was able to cue and run backing tracks using a mobile device from an off?stage position, leaving the student free to concentrate on their live performance. One of the more unusual positions is an upright (ie.I found this position to work very well when I used it as a keyboard monitor in an orchestra pit, and was able to aim the sound right where it was needed.Making sure the battery pack is the right way around (by looking at the connector pins), you just push it into place and re?fix the cover plate, and you’re good to go. Should you need it, there is a Quick Charge mode, engaged by moving the power switch towards the little battery icon.chooset.com/galeria/files/canon-copier-3300-manual.pdf Obsessive folk like me wouldn’t dream of leaving home unless the S1 were fully charged, so thankfully the battery status is easily checked: when the S1 Pro is switched on the power LED indicator will flash a number of times to indicate the charge status, or you can press the Bluetooth pairing button twice to see the same indication if the unit is already on and you don’t want to power?cycle it. If battery level is below 10 percent, the power indicator lights red, otherwise it’s blue, and four flashes means you have over 75 percent in the tank. I used the S1 Pro for a couple of outdoor events, one for music and one for announcements, and used it on battery power the whole time with no issues whatsoever. At one event in particular it was especially good not to have to fight for the nearest power outlet, and the refreshment people could keep their kettle plugged in all day. Smiles all round. It’s worth experimenting with placement to achieve the best results in any given performance space, and especially if playing in a new venue. The published frequency response of 62Hz?17kHz doesn’t seem hyped or marginal in any way, the horizontal HF coverage is very wide, at 120 degrees, and it has a way — a bit like those miniature vertical arrays — of seeming to fill the room with sound and achieving a good tonal balance across the audience area. It is a very compact speaker, so it’s obviously not going to produce chest?pounding mid?range at 50 meters on grass, nor is it something your heavy rock frontman is going to want to rest his foot on, but the output levels it can achieve whilst maintaining a very good sound balance and quality are truly surprising for such a small box. The Bose badge on the front grille can even be rotated through 90 degrees, and the must?have fashion accessory has to be the neat little slip?on travel cover that simply drops over the top and still allows access to the large integrated handle on the top surface.http://stroynerud-sm.ru/wp-content/plugins/formcraft/file-upload/server/content/files/1626c431455871---campbell-hausfeld-hvlp-manual.pdf There is more information on the Bose website, and there is a free app available for iOS and Android that can be used to access some additional functionality, including a stereo mode for connecting to a second speaker. It’s small, it’s light, and it’s loud. This diminutive powered speaker has proved its usefulness and delivered great results in a number of applications, and the internal battery power has been much appreciated whenever I get to the part where I have to find a mains source and run cables. What’s not to like? I suspect most people would say it's one of the vintage Gibson Les Paul models. Others might vote for the versatile Fender Stratocaster or one of the Gibson SGs. For this writer, though, it has to be the Fender Telecaster — one of the few electric instruments that have developed a real identity and mystique. For those of us who grew up in the American Southwest in the '50s and '60s, the mere sight of a Telecaster brings back a rush of memories. And the instrument's sound evokes even stronger recollections.https://hoffmanowska.pl/wp-content/plugins/formcraft/file-upload/server/content/files/1626c431bd2489---campbell-hausfeld-impact-wrench-manual.pdf There was the late Mike Bloomfield at the 1965 Newport Folk Festival, backing Bob Dylan and Paul Butterfield with screaming, penetrating Telecaster sounds that we swore could be heard around the world. A few years before that, we could often see the great James Burton on television, bending his Telecaster strings way up, making the instrument talk in ways we hadn't thought possible. Then there were the unmistakable Telecaster sounds on some of Jeff Beck's early Yardbirds recordings. Ray Davies had one hanging around his neck while he shook his finger at us in '64. And when the 70s came in, playing country and blues Telecaster became an art form unto itself — players like the late Clarence White (with the Byrds), Amos Garrett, Roy Nichols and Arlen Roth brought their string bending, pedal steel-like techniques to perfection. And, I would suggest, Bruce Springsteen's live show would be at least a little less powerful — both musically and visually — if he used any other guitar. It, I gather, is an attempt to come as close to the original 1950s instrument as possible. How well they've succeeded in reproducing a classic depends on the taste of the individual who tries it out. It has the keening, hot, single-coil pickup sound that Telecasters are famous for, but somehow it just doesn't seem the same. Maybe a few years of ageing will balance everything out. Fender is keeping busy these days. Other new instruments introduced by the company lately include the Bullet, the Bullet Deluxe and the Lead III. Let's take them one by one. Fender Vintage Telecaster guitar, Fender Lead III guitar, Fender Bullet Deluxe guitar, Evan JB-2 bass. The Bullet and Bullet Deluxe are aimed at the younger market; they're designed for maximum quality at a fairly low price. Both Bullets feature two single-coil high-output pickups which, according to Fender, provide good sustain capabilities.baocaosudanang24h.com/uploads/image/files/canon-copier-1025if-manual.pdf Both instruments are full-scale (25 inches) and include curved rosewood fingerboards, six individually mounted keys and six adjustable bridge saddles, allowing variation in action, height and intonation. The powder coating on the pickguard is durable and scratch resistant. The Bullet Deluxe model, however, features a standard six-section bridge and separate pickguard. The standard case provided with both models is a new vacuum-formed model. Also new from Fender is the Lead III, an addition to the company's moderately-priced Lead Series. It features two humbucking pickups, designed for high output and maximum sustain. The guitar also includes a pickup selector switch and a coil tap switch for additional tonal variations. Other features include six bridge sections for perfect intonation and action adjustments, electrostatic shielding for low noise performance, sturdy switches and a solid ash body. It's available with a rosewood or maple fingerboard and comes fitted with six individual machine heads. On the amplifier scene, Fender is offering a new Bassman Compact Amp, a 50-watt unit with a 15-inch heavy duty speaker. A special feature is a compressor with threshold control and an LED indicator, intended to prevent overload and expand dynamic range. It has high and low inputs to accommodate instruments of differing output levels; controls include bass, treble, midrange, volume and master. The amp's rear panel includes preamp-out and power amp-in jacks for effects patching. Steinberger bass. Other American companies have some new guitar and bass designs coming off their drawing boards. One of the most intriguing is the Steinberger Bass, designed by Ned Steinberger of the Steinberger Sound Corporation. I first saw this instrument being played by Andy West of the Dregs, who was plucking the bass while sitting in a hotel hallway. On first sight, it looks rather ridiculous, since the instrument has no head and not much of a body; it looks as though the musician is playing a slightly elongated guitar neck and nothing else. When it's all plugged in, however, it has a great sound and undeniably striking visual appeal. Another nice new bass on the market is somewhat more traditional in design but is innovative nonetheless. It's the JB-2 bass from Evans Guitars in New York State. It's available in 21 or 24 fret models and can be purchased in fretted or fretless versions. The strings cross high over the body, making it easy to get those funky popping, snapping and slapping sounds. The JB-2 is totally handmade and weighs 7.5 pounds. Crate Condor CR-260. New amplifiers coming out of the U.S. include a couple of new models from St. Louis Music Supply. This company has had considerable success with its low priced, compact, versatile Crate amp line, and, at this point, they've decided to try their hands at marketing larger amp units. Their initial try at this market is the Crate Condor CR-260, a 260-watt stack that should provide sufficient amplification for any performance site smaller than the Grand Canyon. Each enclosure is fitted with two 12-inch Celestion speakers. A balanced low impedance line out and separate high impedance line out is regulated by a line out level control like the control used by studio musicians. Other controls include an active bass, fat switch, active midrange frequency and level controls, active treble, bright switch, reverb, gain and master controls in both the normal and overdrive channels. A full effects loop is also included. Crate CR-110. Crate's other new entry lies at the other end of the amplifier spectrum — it's called the CR-110 and has only 15 watts RMS and a 10-inch speaker. It has a lot of features for its size, though: overdrive gain and level controls, a manual overdrive switch, volume for the normal channel, bass, midrange, bright switch and treble controls. It also has high and low inputs, channel footswitch jack and a line out jack, with the low input doubling as a channel footswitch jack and a line out jack. The amp is available in two different cabinet styles — Crate's well-known dovetail ponderosa pine design and a textured black tolex model. Shure PE-2 Series microphone. These series consist of six models of unidirectional, dynamic microphones for vocalist or instrumental use. The special features of the PE-2 Series mics include two built-in, recessed tone-shaping switches for presetting either high frequency boost or low frequency cut-off, eliminating boominess and enhancing presence. Also new from Shure are two microphone mixer models, the M267 and M268. Shure Microphone Mixer M268. Shure Microphone Mixer M267. Bose SB-2 Series Box. The Accupitch, which is available from Guild Guitars, can be used with either electric or acoustic instruments. An output jack is provided so that the unit can be hooked up to an amplifier. I also have the Bose towers or 'Twin towers' that I normally gig with, but I always loved the thump and quality that I still can only be got from the old 802's. Anyway got the behringer after doing a small bit of research and I was BLOWEN away with the quality and performance of the behringer 1680. Anyone that knows the Bose 802's knows that you need an external controller box in order to get sound from the 802's but because the behringer has a built in crossover, I don't need the external controller. Be very careful of the button that allows you to change from 800w to 1600w with the flick of a switch, if your volumes on your channel and your master is not at zero. I MEAN ZERO.,!!!! It will blow the hell out of your pa system, I don't care what you have this behringer will blow it up. Again anyone that knows the old Bose 802's with the old base bins. Know's that each bin alone weights 50kg. There a pig of yoke to be lifting. ( yes. I'm Irish ) but seriously believe me, this is a commercial 1600w amp not a sissy domestic model. It is very powerful, if there is anything to bitch about. I think that switch should have a cover over it, in case someone hit it by accident. Finally, if you like me and you love manuals. (Not) I can gladly tell you that mine is still wrapped up in its shiny plastic cover, its that simple to operate. As I always say to friends of mine who need help setting up there equipment. I shout loudly RTFM. They ask. What de hell does that mean. I've waited to review until I had used quite a few times and so. Even though my old amp is now reparied, the PMP1680 has since become the number one choice. Great product in my personal view.
