There is a great deal of intentional confusion in these united states about whether or not people are citizens of the united states. I have read explanations about sovereign citizens. Some say Citizen with a capital C is a sovereign citizen and with a lower c is a subject citizen.
When the people of the united states came together and wrote the Constitution for the United States of America, it was "ordained and established" by people. The people were the sovereigns As was opined is numerous cases, each and every people was a sovereign in his own right. The US Constitution only defines two words; treason and citizen.
The 14th Amendment defines citizen.
All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.
So this should serve as evidence that the goal was not to free the slave, but to transfer ownership. This will become more obvious shortly.
So, since a sovereign is one who decrees law and has no higher authority, how can he be "subject to the jurisdiction"? He cannot without his consent. What this means is if you are a sovereign people, you are not then subject to the jurisdiction and are not, as such, a citizen of the United States OR the state in which you reside. There is no such thing as a sovereign citizen. You cannot be a sovereign and have a higher authority.
Prior to the 14th Amendment, people were considered citizens of the united states already if they were born or naturalized and they were not black. So if the federal government really wanted to make black people free, why would they not have written the 14th Amendment to read as follows?
All persons born or naturalized in the United States are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.
This would have given black people the same freedoms that white people had. The problem that the controlling elitists had, was people were free and they knew it. They knew they were not subject to government jurisdiction. So the way to get control of them was to take control of the education system, teach them that it is a privilege to be a citizen and add one simple clause to the 14th Amendment.

Now they had all of the people who now would consent to the jurisdiction without even knowing what they were doing.
So when you have the urge to say with pride you are a US citizen, think about what they were trying to accomplish. Maybe you just might start being a US people instead. It means the difference in being one of the elitist government owners, free to do as you please, or one of the subjects, required to do as they please.
Reside is another trick legal word of art used to trick people. If you live in a state, you are domiciled their. If you are just visiting and will be returning from whence you came, you reside there. This is yet another way the states trick people into subjecting themselves to the state government. This is obvious when you fill out a driver's license application. The form asks if you reside in the state. The reason it asks this is because the state cannot make you get a driver's license if you are domiciled there. They fool you into ceding jurisdiction to the state in this manner.
We have a sample Right To Travel Affidavit in the member forum for those who wish to reclaim their peoplehood and revoke any implied contract with the state that gave the state jurisdiction over them. You can use this to start the process of rescinding your driver's license and vehicle registration. You will more than likely have to follow this with a suit filed in a court of record to obtain the allodial title to your cars that the state confiscated, but it is worth it. Once you have done this, any time you get pulled over by the police, they will let you go unmolested.
