The Second Failing of Prohibition

Everytime we turn around we hear of another drug bust, or another act of violence committed in the name of selling "illegal" drugs. Everyday another rapist, robber or buglar attacks and yet we still condone the government on all levels spending billions of tax dollars and filling thousands of prison beds with "criminals" of victimless crimes.

People of faith in God believe certain acts are sins. Some of these people think their beliefs should be carried out through force of government.

How many of you have heard about, seen in the news or participated in a protest that took place outside an abortion clinic. During these protests, it is not uncommon for those protesting to shout hateful comments at those entering and leaving the clinic. They will shout things like, "You're going to burn in hell, murderer." These are people who claim to be Christians.

There has been much debate about the 16th Amendment to the US Constitution. Some of this debate has stated that the 16th Amendment gave the federal government the authority to levee a direct and unapportioned tax on sovereign Citizens within the several states. The contrary has actually occurred.

When an amendment is overturning another part of the Constitution, it has to specifically repeal that part of the Constitution that it is changing, because the Constitution cannot be in conflict with itself.

Since its inception, the Republican party has worked to protect the equal rights of all Americans including black Americans. The Republican party is also responsible for the passage of every single major civil rights legislation in the history of the united states of America.
