(and I’ve seen the video before) The problem is that the 4 cable method doesn’t work well with parallel effects loops, it works best with serial effects loops, and there’s really nothing that can be about it without a phase adjustment in the effects one is using. In case there is an input level issue, you might try adjusting the input level in the SYSTEM settings. I love the A-Dist FX, it gives me a Ritchie Blackmore kind of tone out of my strat, and a very Marshall tone overall, with clarity. Downloaded the driver for Windows but it will not load. It gets to a point and the installation wizard just says not successful because it cant find the software.You should also uninstall the version 1 driver before installing the version 2 driver. If that’s not currently possible, do you plan on implementing it in future releases? If you need these kinds of loop features, with multiple tracks, 99 phrase location and three hour loop memory, either the BOSS RC-30 or RC-300 can do this and much more. We cannot predict what might be in a future update, but due to memory constraints, it is probably unlikely that the GT-100’s looper could be configured to do this. They are very different from each other, with different effects, parameters and even technology and therefore cannot read patches from a different unit. I only will use reverb and chorus. Once again on behalf of all us GT-100 owners Thanks for thinking of us! I connected the USB on the GT 100 to a Bluetooth transceiver. Any help out there? For now, you still need to use the USB cable. The GT-100 Version 2 automatically sends two outputs simultaneously to your DAW via USB: they are called Primary and Secondary. Primary sends the processed, effected sound, while Secondary sends the dry unprocessed sound. Put each on its own track in your recording setup; later when you may need to reamp, you already have the dry track, which you can send back through the GT-100 for reamping. For more information, please refer to pages 2 and 3 of the GT-100 Version 2 manual. I can adjust mix level, effect out level,loop back,to effect level and dry out level but how can I reamp my dry recorded track. Please explain with details, I am new to GT100. Unlike v1, V2 has what are called primary and secondary USB outs: one sends the effected signal to your DAW, the other simultaneously sends a dry unaffected signal to a separate track. You have output control of each of these, and you can place the USB functions anywhere in the signal path if need be. If you need to reamp, you can simply bring the dry track back into the GT-100’s effect chain, process it as needed and send it back out the primary USB out to your DAW using the LOOP BACK function. Please check pg 2, 3 of the GT-100 v2 manual for more information. Surely Roland have the resources. I’m having trouble reamping the gt-100 v2 with ableton i can record wet and dry tracks and then listen to the dry one running back into the gt-100 but cannot for the life of me get it to be affected by anything. They just keep saying run the dry signal back into your computer. How do you go about running the dry signal back into your computer. Nowhere in the manual on page 2 and 3 says how to do this. Can Boss or Roland please make a Youtube tutorial on how to do this on a DAW. How do I send a signal to my DAW that will then go through the effect chain and then via USB go back to my DAW wet. I have looked all over the internet and have found nothing on how to do it. Tera echo is the favourite new effect to my patches which I’m gonna build for now, however I notice that tera echo can only be found in FX2 only.This could change in the future, but for now there are no plans to produce this. But does anyone here feel like it has a little latency? Many of the new patches, as you have noticed, have only preamps and noise suppressors in their dual channels. However, it is possible to add effects to either channel as before in Version 1 and control them. We added FX2 to channel B in patch P01-1, which is a patch using only preamps in the dual channels. This worked correctly without difficulty. We have not been able to replicate your experience yet, but will continue to test to be sure these functions are working properly. In this case Freeze is included in the ME-80 and ME-25, while Sound Hold along with many other effects not found in the ME-80 or ME-25 is included in the GT-100. Is it possible to work with sound hold? Both of these groups contain both Sound Hold and Harmonist, while FX2 also contains Overtone. To use them at the same time, just select Sound Hold or Harmonist from FX1 and select Overtone from FX 2. And just have more effects to play with. Here is what it adds: I’m so impatient!! With the update so close to release, I’m sure it is been tested by a selected few, could we get there input, as it seems the supporting staff are also a little in the dark. While we all are grateful to know our device is a top notch pedal board capable of this upgrade, I think the uses deserve a little more than a wait and see attitude. This could change, so please check the BOSSus or BOSS TONE CENTRAL websites for any ETA updates. It chops off the tone so harshly that it offends my ears. Surely it’s not that hard to continue the spillover in the output. V2 should be available around mid-April, so we should all know soon. The current written instructions for previous updates assume a tech knowledge that not everyone has and state that it is possible to need a service centre visit if you do it wrong, which is a worry.
