1D Monoblock Class D MOSFET Amplifier with Remote Subwoofer Level Control, 3500W Skar Audio, LLC.Amazon calculates a product’s star ratings based on a machine learned model instead of a raw data average. The model takes into account factors including the age of a rating, whether the ratings are from verified purchasers, and factors that establish reviewer trustworthiness. Not only did I hit this goal, but it's louder the I ever imagined. I added a Capicitor mainly because I got it as a bonus. FYI, Before I had the capacitor installed I didn't have any issues with power. I am using 8 gauge power and ground wires, and 6 channel Stinger RCA cables. I did run into some engine noise at first, but then I found out you need to run RCA opposite side of power wire. Rookie mistake on my part. Once I changed my mistake by re running my RCA cable away from my power Line, all my interference noise stopped. So far one month after my installation my intuition was correct, because I have yet to have any issues that wasn't corrected from me being a rookie. Matching your gains on all amplithfilers is very important for audio quality and Ampliphier performance. This is the main problem for all Ampliphiers not performing correctly and not lasting. There are Lots of helpful hints if you search How to tune your AMP on the internet. I'm guessing this could be some of the problems the lower reviewers guys could be having. This AMP gets plenty loud, and provides lots of power. When I run music at normal levels My AMP stays cool and runs fine. When you run it hard it does get warm but not to hot to touch and sound great. I installed this under my passenger seat in my 2004 Chevy Tahoe and it fits perfect. People with smaller cars pay attention to dimensions because this AMP is a monster. My friends were easily impressed by the sound and the cool look the way it lights up especially at night.http://fiestadrivingschool.com/phpsites/involve_audio/uploads/bose-cd20-manual.xml I went expensive on an Apple Car play receiver and Boss really helped me out by giving me an affordable option to continue to add to my expensive receiver at a very affordable price. It's a no brainer if you're in the market for a dive loud system, just make sure it's installed correctly before writing a review. I made lots of mistakes but after researching my problems I got it performing like a Boss. The Phantom 3700 gives you plenty of options to achieve your goals and a great option for people with limited resources. Keep in mind when you're costing Ampliphiers out, the hardware such as wires cables conectors ect: can get very costly ontop of your equipment. I spent almost as much on hardware as I did on the Amp. Boss makes this less painful by giving you such a good deal from the start. I decided to spend less money on the Amp and more money on the correct wires and cables. Try it out, install it right and you'll Love it!It's stupid loud, which is what my teenagers wanted. Fairly easy to install and telephone tech support was quick and helpful in matching up all the channels with the right speaker wires once everything was wired. Would buy this brand again. Two of them ended creating stripped threads, and would not tighten into the amp anymore, would just continue to spin as you tried to tighten it down. Then the reason I had to return the product at the end of the day was that my audio would randomly shut off on long drives, and then resetting the headunit during the drive brought the sound back, but it shut off pretty quickly. I assumed it might be overheating and I believe I was right. I returned the product and purchased a Pioneer 5Channel and haven't had a single issue with the Pioneer so far, so clearly the Boss Amp was having issues. Would not recommend this unit. All speakers are putting out their full rating and there is no sound distortion. I still have another 2 6x6 speakers and 2 more tweeters to install, this amp should be able to handle them all.http://gbb.global/blog/3s-fe-workshop-manual Definately a good value.I turn up the volume on the amp and the protection pops on at vol lv 15, and it's not even loud. I understand there is a difference with current music and the older (back in the day) music. The recording was different, better equipment now. In other words, older music you may have to turn it up a little more. But that's not my case. I had a Rockford Fosgate that gave no probs.going back to!Definitely does not hit the big numbers it advertises. But that being said for the money this amp is a real performer. I am running a type R 10 with JBL components in the front and OEM in the rear in a Honda Hrv. The sound is clean crisp and responsive. The amp delivers on every point an amp in this price range should. I would highly recommend this amp to anyone not looking to spend huge money on a audio system.Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again I have 8 x 8 inch speakers hooked up to the 4 channels and it's way more than enough power. However the sub channel 5 is very weak no where near the rated output of 1125watts. At that rate I should be able to run 2 350watts subs but it wont even power one properly. The amp is very good for the price. If you buy dont expect much from the sub channel.Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again Powering 10 inch pioneer sub and 4 kenwood 6x8s sounds pretty good doesn’t go to loud.Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again It sounds amazing. So amazing that I bought another one for my truck but with a boss subwoofer that can go down to 2ohms. My friend has one and my dad wants one. Everyone should get this amp really is amazing. Don't forget a power cell and sealed sub box for the extra thud.Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again I can't get 200watts RMS out of it for the woofer. Looks VERY nice though.Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again However when first installed it did not turn on and began to smoke from the cooling fins.https://artoftheark.com/images/boss-amplifier-manual.pdf I killed the power double checked I never hooked it up wrong. Tried it again and it started working. I hope it keeps working(fingers crossed). I think the amp is over rated at 3700 watts.Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again So far it has amazing power and clear sound. Will update I about a month and see how it holds up. By design, all Katana amps feature an instantly familiar interface that makes it easy to dial in and save great sounds on the fly. But there’s even more power under the hood, and it’s all accessible via the free BOSS Tone Studio editor. Read on as we check out all the cool things you can do with this powerful editor for the Katana amp series. Before installing them, carefully read the instructions provided with the downloads. To get a PDF instruction manual for using BOSS Tone Studio with the Katana amps, click on the Support tab at your amp’s product page.http://sh8ke.com/wp-content/plugins/formcraft/file-upload/server/content/files/1626c7e8608359---canon-qs-100-typewriter-user-manual.pdf You can tweak amp tones, load and customize different effects, save and recall Tone Settings, and more. The software directly interacts with the amp, allowing you to intuitively create sounds as you play. Any editor adjustments you make are immediately reflected in the amp, and vice versa. With fine control of each parameter from 0-100, you’re able to make microscopic tweaks and dial in sounds to perfection. With BOSS Tone Studio, you can audition and edit these effects, and then load them up in the Katana’s 15 available onboard storage locations. You might find this desirable when setting up the effects chain, which we’ll discuss coming up. As a general rule of thumb, you’ll want to use wahs, compressors, overdrives, distortions, and boosters in front of the amp, and reverb after the preamp. With mod and delay effects, it depends—you might want to use them in either location, depending on the sound you’re after. Three different chains are available, as shown in the following image: Each effect type has a full set of parameters to adjust, similar to what’s available in the GT-100, BOSS’s flagship multi-effects unit. This can be helpful to tame background noise with high-gain sounds. It can only be adjusted with BOSS Tone Studio; there are no controls available from the amp’s panel. Unlike a simple noise gate, the Katana’s noise suppressor intelligently follows the sound’s natural decay, so it won’t harm the character of your tone. Just click the WRITE button in the upper right corner of the Editor page, give the setting a name, and save it to the desired destination (CH1, CH2, CH3, or CH4). Basically, Live Sets provide a way to store and organize Tone Settings into groups for different gigs, songs, recording sessions, or whatever you want. When you want to load them into the Katana, just drag them to the desired locations in the left side of the screen.chongthamhaiphong.com/upload/files/8708elp-manual.pdf Simply click on the TONE CENTRAL button in the lower left corner to browse the many Katana Live Set collections created by top pro players. You’re able to audition audio demos of the sounds, and directly add them to your local Katana library. Here, you can adjust MIDI, USB, and device settings, download the latest Katana owner’s manual, and more.Clicking this opens a screen that allows you to jam along with WAV songs stored on your computer. ControlSpace Designer software is also used to integrate network model PowerMatch amplifiers into larger control and monitoring systems comprised of Bose ESP processors and CC control centers. Four main models, each available in a network version, offer differing channel and power options to suit the needs of most installed-sound applications. There are four main models of amplifiers: Download the document Using MONO Mode (single channel) to Drive High Impedance Loudspeaker Loads. For example, on the PM8500 amplifier, a single output block can be configured for Mono (500W x 4), V-Bridge (1000 W x 2), I-Share (1000 W x 2) or Quad (2000 W x 1). This operating mode is particularly useful for powering subwoofers and 2 ohm loads. It prevents the AC mains from being overdrawn, and combines the sound quality and reliability of the best Class-AB designs with Class-D efficiency. It precisely controls each output to deliver optimal frequency response while minimizing distortion, regardless of the output level and loudspeaker load.chooset.com/galeria/files/8703e-manual.pdf This offers increased reliability and efficiency from a smaller design than possible from larger conventional transformers. This operation allows the PM8500 amplifier to deliver a long duration of maximum power at all output channels from a standard outlet without amplifier shutdown or disturbing fuses and breakers on the AC mains feed. A front panel lock combination is available to disable front panel access to unauthorized users. This capability is appropriate for use with most professional loudspeakers. When using Bose loudspeakers, factory presets allow for fast, precise recall of band pass, parametric EQ and limiter settings. Additional settings allow for non-Bose loudspeaker EQ design, input channel matrix mixing and EQ, array EQ and delay.Full detail on faults can be found in the Installation and Safety Guide and the ControlSpace Designer software help file. For system benchmarking and troubleshooting, the amplifier can measure and store the load impedance of each output where it can be used for future comparisons to determine if the system is operating as expected. This function is disabled by default. Accessory cards allow the amplifier to receive digital audio directly to the amplifier. Support for audio over Ethernet network cards is intended for this slot. See Expansion Cards for available cards. ControlSpace CC-64 control centers can be connected via a network switch or directly to these models for remote control capability. Additionally, third party control systems can interface with these models using Serial over Ethernet. If you think you will need the networked option now or in the future, please consider that when purchasing your amplifier. Standard network patch cables can be used due to the built-in auto-MDIX function which automatically detects the cable type and establishes a link. Network settings on the PC will have to be set to the appropriate subnet for the computer to detect and communicate with the amplifier.A minimum 21” (53.3 cm) mounting depth is required from the front rack rail. Each amp ships with product specific GA-FC decals in the sealed amp Owner's Manual Packet. Each amp Owner's Manual contains an image of what the correct amp GA-FC decal should display. Submit a request. Just to give you an idea, these are some facts and figures extracted from its Owner’s manual: Not bad, uh? Yes, but all these power brings complexity, and despite BOSS has made an excellent job in organizing the Human Machine Interface, simplifying it compared to the previous model BOSS GT-10 thanks to the “ two screen user interface “, the BOSS GT-100 is not easy to understand and manage. In practice, selecting a patch is just like if you completely changed the pedal board that you are using !! Through the AMP CTL jack you can even switch the channels of your amplifier, and the state of this output is programmable into the patches. If you are using a Marshall, it will never sound like a Fender, Vox, and vice versa. For example you can use the connections shown in figure 3 if you want to play stereo using 2 amplifiers: It’s stated that “ You’ll need to specify the type of device (amp) that’s connected to the OUTPUT jacks. The GT-100 will apply an internal adjustment so that the output will sound optimal on the system you are using. ” The wide set of diversified clean, overdriven and distorted tones that it can produce depends on them, and you cannot appreciate them with the schemes illustrated in figures 2 and 3. The reason is simple: if you use a preamp simulation into your GT-100 it shapes your guitar’s sound with its tonal characteristics and controls (gain, treble, middle, presence and so on), but your external amplifier will do the same a second time with its preamp section, and the resulting effect is not good. The last preamplifier tends to prevail, and you don’t hear a clear difference changing basic aspects of a tone. Only the BOSS GT-100 acts as the preamp, and in this way you can appreciate the powerful simulations of the COSM technology. Make a simple test: switch on only the preamp unit of your GT-100 and select as a type “ Clean TWIN “, that is a simulation of a Fender Twin Reverb amplifier, or “ BG Lead “, that simulates the lead sound of a Mesa Boogie combo amplifier, and listen by yourself. The insertion or not and the eventual switch of its channels are programmable into the patches. It’s stated that “ You’ll need to specify the type of device (amp) that’s connected to the OUTPUT jacks. The GT-100 will apply an internal adjustment so that the output will sound optimal on the system you are using. ” The reason is that the loudspeakers and cabinet of your amplifier that reproduce the sound have an influence too on its tonal characteristics. The SP parameter has an interesting effect because let you simulate the characteristics of different speakers (number of cones, their diameter, and so on). This means that with the set-up above you do not have this possibility available. That is the Question But then I found myself get so comfort with it and I need some break though. So I traded it to others and got other pedals back. I still miss it. But I want my music to be more different.
