Comes with a rubber bumper to put at the speaker base to make sure there is no noise produced from speakers hitting the mount surface. I would reccommend buying a pack of expanding plastic mounts rated at 40 pounds each than the toggle bolt unless you just really want 4, 1 inch holes in your sheetroxk. I have no doubt in my mind these could be used on most any bookshelf or reference speaker as well.I can't imagine why people buy the ones for Bose that are twice the price. These are identical with the same instructions that come with the Bose they just look different but they are very sturdy. I think they would easily hold over 100 pounds. Don't be afraid to drill holes in your speaker. Just use the proper drill bit and just don't drill too deep. They can rock the house with ample bass, precise mids and the front and rear tweeter design generate clear highs. Make sure you set them up properly and if using them as mains, toe them in a bit. For the record, when compared to my 2 other pair of much more expensive speakers the 301's not only hold their own, but in many instances they are my go to speakers.
