Can I drive them both with Bose 802c II system controller? thanks Best regards, Arno For the last: I have to say that 802's have best sound that I have ever heard. The impedance depends on what type of device you are using and the frequency. But around 7 ohms sounds OK to me. Thank you on the sound quality of the Bose 802 Best regards, Arno I have successfully used a variety of good quality (9 band) equalisers (e.g. ControlSpace) in the past with good results by replicating, as closely as possible, the curve shown on page 14 of the manual. Remember also that the 802 has it’s very low impedance (nominally 1 ohm) drivers wired in series to give an overall impedance of 8 ohms; which also means that if any one driver open circuits then the rest of the loudspeaker will not work. I hope this information is useful. Best regards Ray Walsh - Australia When I find good equ to replicate the bose equ curve I have to go with my mk2. Although my second post is my biggest concern. My only advice if you're going to tackle this yourself is to take your time cleaning surfaces and prepping, and be sure to get the voice coils centered before you start applying pressure to the fresh glue.Took me a few tries to get good at it, but I have repaired around 20 bose 301 speakers using these kits now. The first few were a little ugly, as I used too much glue and it ran everywhere, but they worked, and that is really all that matters. Now I'm rocking my vintage Bose 601-II. Something went wrong. The system's two 8 inch woofers (one facing the front grille and another radiating through the acoustically transparent top grille) provide outstanding bass response while simultaneously providing a balance of reflected and direct sound. Four identical tweeters are used to simulate the distribution of sound energy normally associated with live performances, radiating through front and top, the tweeter crossfires the high-frequency energy via the reflecting walls of the listening room. This unique design provides multiple sound reflections creating a sense of spaciousness with a strong centre image. The 601's crossover network incorporates a unique control that modifies the spatial performance of that speaker. You are the light of the world. The factory JBL subwoofer in my 2006 4Runner blew a few months ago and I really didn t want to go aftermarket because of just how great the stock system sounds with no bulky sub or amp taking up precious cargo room. I ordered the repair kit Friday, and here it is Monday and the sub is already repaired and back in the truck. I am extremely impressed by the quality of the replacement surround and the simplicity of the installation, not to mention the great price. Your instructions were top notch and having a YouTube video to watch just to double check the steps is just icing on the cake. I am a bug believer in repair instead of replace when at all possible, and I will most definitely be ordering from your company again in the future. Please, please keep up the awesome things you all are doing. In a disposable world, it s a relief to see a company that still believes in repair. Thank you so much! The foam edge kit I ordered arrived in only two days. Your online videos provided me with everything I needed for a first time foam edge repair. My Mach 3s sound great again. Great doing business with you. After watching their excellent video on how to repair my woofers, I was about to buy one of two repair kits, but after I sent a photo, they identified that neither kit would work for my repairs, and that the only option was replacement -- which saved me buying a repair kit or two, as well as a lot of time and frustration. Taking this time to answer my rookie questions, even though I was obviously not going to be a high-dollar customer, really impressed me. I buy things online now and then, mainly through Amazon, but I have never taken the time to write a review before, if that tells you anything. An easy way is to view their instructions ahead of time. Before ever ordering I watched the video on repairing my 128H speakers. It covered things I didn't know ( differences in diameter cones ), and fully showed the repair process. Not only that but Sean Ryan ( guy in the video ) actually looks like he's talking from experience unlike, the other videos I viewed. Honestly he looks like he could re-foam a speaker in the dark. Anyhow, warm fuzzy feelings that if I hit a snag I could call someone and they'd actually know what I was talking about. Plus other kits I looked at really do seem to come with the same white glue that we ate in kindergarten. The quality of the foam seems good too. Anyhow, after watching the video and reading their instructions I re-foamed two speakers on my kitchen counter in a Friday evening with no trouble at all and the speakers sound great once again. First time order from Simply Speakers and I have to say I like the glue that came with this order a good deal better than the two different glues received from the competition in the past. The other worked as well, but this was a good deal easier to work with in my opinion. Your quick response team is awesome in answering questions. Your super fast shipping can't be beat. You have outstanding customer service. I would highly recommend you to anyone looking for excellent speaker repair products. Many thanks for helping me get my stereo back up and running top notch. Have a wonderful day! I called to inquire about refoaming my vintage Heathkit AS1348 woofers last Friday. I was not hopeful of a favorable outcome considering their age and rarity. However, when I called I was pleased to learn that my speakers indeed could be repaired. I was shipped the New-Edge-It repair kit on Monday and as of Friday morning I am listening to them in all their former glory. Although I had never attempted such a repair or even knew it was possible, with the help of your online videos it was simple and straightforward. Many thanks for your prompt and courteous service. As I am now retired, I look forward to many more years of enjoyment from my system which I built more than 30 years ago. We have all seen the stage diagrams and have wondered just how a wave really works. These diagrams represent the route of an electric current through time and space, but it is a great deal more than that. To be able to understand this well, we must take a look at some of the properties of electromagnetic waves as they're emitted or absorbed by matter. First of all, we need to know that the origin of an electromagnetic wave is the source of energy. It has the exact same wavelength as the waves which it is traveling through, meaning that the wavelength is quantified in terms of the frequency of the waves. A wave travels from a source to a moderate, where the wave becomes a particle, and this particle goes through the moderate, displacing another particle, etc and so forth. When the wave reaches the opposite end of this medium, it has consumed by a medium and changes to a wave. There are many different types of particles that exist, and every kind of particle gives off a specific sort of electromagnetic field. The area may also be explained using coordinates, and this is what's known as electromagnetic coordinates. This means that the field of an object is measured concerning the direction where it radiates, and it may also be quantified concerning size, which is exactly what determines the strength of the field. There are three primary components of an electromagnetic field, and each component produces a specific type of wave. The first element is known as the electrical field, which produces a broad band of radiation. The next component is the magnetic field, which creates a narrower group of radiation. The next element is known as the potential, which creates a line segment between the sources and the factors of detection. The line segments form a route of radiation, and the course can be described with coordinates. Now we can see how the triple point on a phase program works. We know that the triple point is present, but what does it mean. It means that the 3 elements of the electromagnetic field are equivalent. This may be used to our advantage once we would like to know how much the source is emitting or absorbing. To determine how much an object is emitting or absorbing, we quantify the amount of the triple point. We could compare the wavelengths of the radiation with those of this origin so as to determine the proportion of the radiation from the origin to the radiation emitted from the origin. We can then ascertain the potency of the origin's area. The triple point represents the intersection of the line segments that make up the radiation. When the triple point occurs, the triple points form an electric circuit which represents the energy of this origin. This energy could be transformed into electromagnetic energy. So, understanding the triple point on a phase diagram could be helpful for many different applications. What Are the Elements of a Venn Diagram? The two sides can be any number of things. For example, a Venn Diagram may demonstrate a husband and wife, father and daughter, a supervisor and his or her assistant, or a young man and woman. Provided that there's a connection between theislands (ideally, by touching each other) they share the same components and therefore they belong together. So, what would be the components of a Venn Diagram. There are numerous and it may take some time to determine which one is the correct one for your situation. In most cases, the connection element won't be directly displayed on the diagram. At times the relation is hinted at through a tag. That is when a individual might have to go through the labels on theisland to find out if they're related or not. For example, say you would like to discover the relation between a boss and his or her assistant. You can achieve this by taking a look at the individual labels about theisland and then either concluding they aren't associated or you are able to ascertain if they are if they share exactly the identical relationship component. If the 2 tags arebossassistant, then they must be connected. As a guideline, if the label differs from the relationship element then the connection needs to be present. The third sort of connection on a Venn Diagram is shared component. A shared element is a group of elements that have both individual elements in addition to any type of connection between them. Normally this is carried out by making a drawing of a triangle, squarefoot, or a rectangle. The drawing of these is usually subsequently used to determine whether the elements are related. Once you've decided if the two elements are linked, you may need to correct the name of the elements in order to fit into the main label. The fourth sort of relationship is what would be the elements of a Venn Diagram is shown under what are the components of a relationship. This is pretty self-explanatory. These are where the relationship element can be seen but not necessarily recorded. Having this type of relationship it's important to figure out the specific form of the square or rectangle that shows the link between the elements. The fifth type of relationship on a Venn Diagram is a shared definition. This is where you and the other person have described the relationship. This is most commonly used when determining if both components are related. Last, the last kind of connection on a Venn Diagram is what would be the components of a Venn Diagram is displayed beneath what would be the elements of a connection. Here the definitions of both components are connected. This is the sort of relationship utilized when determining if the two elements are related. Those are just a couple examples of the sorts of relationships that can be revealed on a Venn Diagram. All of them have their particular benefits and disadvantages depending upon the circumstance.
