A day does does not go buy that customers don't remark on the system's incredible sound (granted, the room is very acoustic friendly). What I need help with is this: I would very much like to incorporate this system into the home theater setup I have started to put together for the restaurant. Is my speaker system obsolete or is there actually a way to hook it up to my soon-to-be-purchased AVR (probably a Yamaha RX-V2200 or Denon AVR-3802). Any input would be appreciated as the manual is of very little help. Unless the speakers (must be non-powered) can be wired seperately into a receiver, you may be out of luck.http://www.lunaleo.pl/userfiles/bosch-maxx-7-sensitive-user-manual.xml Since the venue is a business, I might run the DVD audio outputs in the Bose inputs and run it 'quadrophonic' style. Jeff Electrical Installation: This product is designed for the full bandwidth reproduction of STEREO signals. It uses a monophonic bass amplifier with a built-in loudspeaker system and two amplifier channels, which power four independently mounted satellite loudspeakers. The signal input section accepts two balanced audio input lines, the best input configuration for noise immunity. Many installations will use a monophonic source, or may not be appropriate for use of a stereo signal. The trend in newer forms of source material is towards stereo mixes, which is why the system is so configured. This manual will describe the various wiring options for stereo vs monophonic playback. Be sure you understand the characteristics of the signal source equipment you will be using - Failure to understand how to properly connect your source equipment could result in damage to the source equipment, the FreeSpace system, or both. Advanced Electrical Installation: When uniform coverage of large or irregularly shaped spaces is required, it may be desirable to install more than one FreeSpace system. Most 600ohms to 1Kohms source impedance equipment can supply up to three FreeSpace systems. The exact method of wiring will depend on the relative locations of the source electronics and the system bass modules. The amp is rated at 50W. You need something more than 100W to get decent sound for moderately large area. And if you want 5.1, you'll have to buy new.You drop a fork and everyone in the place hears it. Anyway, home theater audio is the last piece of the puzzle that I need in order to complete my system - and I know nothing about it (other than my Bose system ain't going to get me where I want to go). The good news is that I'm very happy with the video end that we have managed to nail down - lots of HD.http://www.raumboerse-luzern.ch/mieten/bosch-shx45m06uc-manual What about this possibility: Keep the four Bose speakers, replace the internal amp bass module, let my new AVR take the place of the internal amp and add whatever is left (a subwoofer, fronts, rears, etc.??) - I need help in this area. The cube speakers are rated 180Hz-16kHz - how does this rate. Also, I am torn between two AVRs that are almost identical other than watts per channel; one is 100 and the other is 80. Especially considering that it looks like I have been running on 50 watts these past six years. Again, thanks very much for your expertise. Robert I don't think you want to connect those cubes directly to your AVR. At least my old Bose am-7's said not to. However, it sounds like you've invested in a quality HD system, you should probably consider all new 'matching' speakers for your mains and surrounds. Sub for sure, you want to get below 50hz. Your considering the Yamaha 1200 or 2200. I was able to program the 2200 remote to work all my stuff. If you have a little more to throw away, you could also look for a good center instead of making a bookshelf do the work. Bose speakers won't be good for HT in your situation. You're welcome to try out the solution piecemeal though - and stick with the setup you like. Get 3-way or 4-way floor-standers first (decent bass), and think about placement of the other satellites. You do NOT want to bypass the amplification supplied by Bose; it includes equalization and compression stages needed to make those little satellites sound good, and keep them from bursting into flames when you 'pump up the jams.' BTW, I'm a HiFi guy myself, with no love lost for Bose, but I'll bet that system really does sound quite nice for 'background' music in your environment. Like, when one cares about sound quality more than a fake, artificially tuned and artificially widened surrounding sound with no highs and no lows.https://absagencies.com/images/bose-601-series-1-manual.pdf Installation manual (draft v1)This document describes an RF transceiver module PCB having two independentThe module provided on-board powerThis equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digitalThese limits are designed to provideIf this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio orThis device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. I am extremely impressed by the quality of the replacement surround and the simplicity of the installation, not to mention the great price. Your instructions were top notch and having a YouTube video to watch just to double check the steps is just icing on the cake. I am a bug believer in repair instead of replace when at all possible, and I will most definitely be ordering from your company again in the future. Please, please keep up the awesome things you all are doing. In a disposable world, it s a relief to see a company that still believes in repair. Thank you so much! The foam edge kit I ordered arrived in only two days. Your online videos provided me with everything I needed for a first time foam edge repair. My Mach 3s sound great again. Great doing business with you. After watching their excellent video on how to repair my woofers, I was about to buy one of two repair kits, but after I sent a photo, they identified that neither kit would work for my repairs, and that the only option was replacement -- which saved me buying a repair kit or two, as well as a lot of time and frustration. Taking this time to answer my rookie questions, even though I was obviously not going to be a high-dollar customer, really impressed me. I buy things online now and then, mainly through Amazon, but I have never taken the time to write a review before, if that tells you anything. An easy way is to view their instructions ahead of time. Before ever ordering I watched the video on repairing my 128H speakers. It covered things I didn't know ( differences in diameter cones ), and fully showed the repair process. Not only that but Sean Ryan ( guy in the video ) actually looks like he's talking from experience unlike, the other videos I viewed. Honestly he looks like he could re-foam a speaker in the dark. Anyhow, warm fuzzy feelings that if I hit a snag I could call someone and they'd actually know what I was talking about. Plus other kits I looked at really do seem to come with the same white glue that we ate in kindergarten. The quality of the foam seems good too. Anyhow, after watching the video and reading their instructions I re-foamed two speakers on my kitchen counter in a Friday evening with no trouble at all and the speakers sound great once again. First time order from Simply Speakers and I have to say I like the glue that came with this order a good deal better than the two different glues received from the competition in the past. The other worked as well, but this was a good deal easier to work with in my opinion. Your quick response team is awesome in answering questions. Your super fast shipping can't be beat. You have outstanding customer service. I would highly recommend you to anyone looking for excellent speaker repair products. Many thanks for helping me get my stereo back up and running top notch. Have a wonderful day! I called to inquire about refoaming my vintage Heathkit AS1348 woofers last Friday. I was not hopeful of a favorable outcome considering their age and rarity. However, when I called I was pleased to learn that my speakers indeed could be repaired. I was shipped the New-Edge-It repair kit on Monday and as of Friday morning I am listening to them in all their former glory. Although I had never attempted such a repair or even knew it was possible, with the help of your online videos it was simple and straightforward. Many thanks for your prompt and courteous service. As I am now retired, I look forward to many more years of enjoyment from my system which I built more than 30 years ago. The machine learned model takes into account factors including: the age of a review, helpfulness votes by customers and whether the reviews are from verified purchases.
