I am pretty much a newbie to the site, its not easy for a 72 year old to begin this and i appreciate any help given by anyone.  My mothers estate has been being settled for the last 2 1/2 years.  I got a letter from the attorney today about the final settlement wanting me to sign this document.  There has been much conflict because of the way the executrix has been allowed by the attorneys and the commissioner of accounts to do what she wanted without fulfilling her fiduciary duty to the heirs of the estate.  There have been many issues.  I have attached a letter  that was sent to me today by the attorney, the letter appears to me to be an act of coercion, my question is, is it legal for an attorney to send this out to heirs of an estate in which there has been many conflicts and the family destroyed.  I thought coercion was a crime, I would appreciate any advice on this. If this is inappropriate for the site, i apologize in advance.
