The output for the first zone runs to a powered sub-woofer which in turn runs to the 5 surround sound speakers. I now have the second zone run to this amplifier which outputs to Bose speakers in another room (on another floor of the house in fact). This gives me the ability to control the music to each room independently and each room can use the same or different sources, meaning I could listen to iTunes from one room and the cd player from the other since both run into the receiver. Combine that with the great RF remotes that work through walls and I now have music on a different floor of my house from where the receiver and amp are.The setup was a piece of cake.
