Can anybody please tell me the ohms of these speakers. The bass module for the AM 5 splits the audio for the sound so the the lows go to the bass and the mids and highs how to the cubes. Any other speaker company does not perform that way at all. The have speakers that have a low and a high so they will not work with any other system. I’m sorry to be blunt but that is how it is with a Bose system. I know in the past you could contact Bose and the would either repair the system or offer an exchange at a cheaper price not sure if they still do that. Anybody have any luck with using a HPF (high pass filter) with speakers like these. I used to do that with my old car stereo setups back in the day. Your version of the Acoustimass 5 bass module has its own amplifier built onto the back of it which powers it and the 2 speakers. Something went wrong. The only problem I have with it is it is lifestyle 5 unit but manuals that were sent with it were for lifestyle 3 unit.
