Try hardwiring the subwoofer directly to the system using a cable. Use a vacuum cleaner, preferably with a soft bristle attachment to clean dust or fibers from the cloth speaker grill. To reconnect wires, unplug all wires associated with the system and reconnect them. To perform a reset, you must unplug the power cord for at least 5 minutes, then plug the power cord back in. If there is no startup tone within 10 seconds of giving power to the system, then the power outlet may not be working. In this case, you could try moving it to a different power outlet. You will know when your system is powered on if there is a solid green light at the front of the system. This can be resolved by connecting the power cords more tightly.
