This weekend I hooked up the Bose speakers Left, Center and Right taking the output of the receiver and running the wires into the subwoofer and out to the speakers. TIA for your assistance However, the problem with this connection is the fact that most of the auto speaker calibration systems will not work with a Bose AM system. When you add a third party sub it will recognize the new sub but none of the Bose speakers so your only alternative is calibrate your speakers with a manual meter. I think the waining that Bose has given you pertains to trying to connect the cubes directly to your receiver as that could damage either the speakers or your receiver. The usual answer to Bose problems is learn to live with it or put your Bose Cubes up for sale on e-bay and buy a new set of speakers.
