We live in a very remote area, but the Bose has no trouble at all bringing in our one station. Other cheaper radios we have had in the past were a constant problem, and we were always trying to tune in the station, and they never worked very well. With the Bose we get an excellent signal with no additional antenna, just the cord serves as the antenna. The Amazon vendor (Vanns)is not an authorized Bose retailer and the remote control shipped with the Bose Speaker from Vanns was not compatible with my Bose V35 System.
