I have posted numerous resources all over these forums. Each person should find what works for them. These postings are just for information and research nothing more. Although they may be helpful to a few people.
Lots of what seemed like liberty rights fighters are going out of biz. Do you think they were not really for liberty if they no longer exist? Or is it that they got too much pressure from the corrupt Municipal to close down?
The lawyouamerica site is not good. That does not mean it does not have good information, but on the very first page the publisher used the terminology "represent yourself". You never represent anybody. When you go into court, you are present. You do not need to be re-presented or presented again. Last time I was in court, the judge kept trying to get me to say I represent myself and I finally said, "I am present. I do not need to be re-presented." He then dropped it and moved on. I got a pat on my back on the way out of the court from the bailiff. These guys like to see us average Joes win sometimes. They are just trying to keep their jobs.

Right! I agree. I run into a lot of locals and municipal officials that bully people and enjoy getting a lawyer makes everything right? Not! I asked questions to these moron wealthy pig lawyers that can't answer simple questions to simple problems like housing issues. From my experience with housing so called laws, and municipal stupidity can say this the real lawyers are the people!
People need laws>>>>> that are made by the People. The Reformers (non-elected, non-political types)!
The Hatch Act is a good federal law made by lawyers to spurn and burn stupid political officials. It is a work in progress if the People (you and I ) take hold of it and reform it to boot out lots of elected morons that think they are gods of the little us Peoples!

Been reading books on How to Your own Lawyer, lots of junk is taught by lawyers. I think Nolo has people brainwashed too! There is some good books in PDF format online with good advice. But again, I think it comes down to what works, what doesn't. Simply quoting laws or knowing laws doesn't resolve the everyday delimma folks are cornered into. Just keep hoping for the best.

Me, I have a good deal of respect for the public service job you are doing and understand how difficult it is to seek out and prosecute criminals. However, this document is presented at a ´traffic stop´. Comity applies.
Where an individual is detained, without a warrant and without having committed a crime (traffic infractions are not crimes), the detention is a false arrest and false imprisonment.
Damages awarded. Trezevant v. City of Tampa, 741 F.2d 336 (11th Cir. 1984)
Motorist illegally held for 23 minutes in a traffic charge was awarded $25,000 in damages. The above case sets the foundation for ~$65,217 dollars per hour, or ~$1,800,000 (1.8 M) dollars per day. If you want to make me rich - detain me for as long as you like.
