Re: Property Taxes

In your opinion what is the best way to stop the Tax Collector from selling Tax certificates on your land, you own free and clear and selling your property on the Courthouse steps. Nothing phases these tyrants. I have made several attempts to pay through the US Treasury and Promissory notes to no avail. Any guidance you could offer would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

Start by getting your land patent

The first thing you have to do is get your land patent. We should have the steps for doing so posted on this site soon. We have numerous members here who have done so, and have agreed to share that information once they are finished with their claims.

Once you obtain the land patent, you give them notice that they have your property categorized as residential. It should be private. If the county does not correct the issue, you would then rile a claim challenging its authority to charge you a tax for property for which you hold the allodial title.

Land Patent instruction coming soon

We are working on getting the instructions for obtaining a land patent. Once we get it it will be posted in the Freedom Guidance section. (Which is a fancy name for blog.)

I would write a simple Karl

I would write a simple Karl Lentz common law style letter. and challenge the debt as a man and not the ALL CAPS NAME.

Dear Fred, who sometimes acts as an agent for Franchise Tax Board, greetings.

If i, a man, owe this debt, could you please tender me the bill and sign it?

Sincerely, Bob

Lots of Karl Lentz on YouTube --how to stave off tax collectors by writing a simple letter, man on man, no fictions allowed.
