In fact, the mini has a battery meter function on my phone that this one does not do. For the added size and money, the Soundlink is not quite the value that the mini is. Update: When I wrote the review above I had used the speaker in a variety of indoor and outdoor locations, but the outdoor ones always involved fairly close proximity to either a vehicle or a building. Last week I used it on a camping trip for the first time and quickly discovered that in a wide open space the EQ settings sound best FLAT, no correction at any frequency except perhaps a bit of reduced highs. Please try again La super recomiendo. Solo note q cuando la bateria ya esta baja (el color marron led) se vuelve intermitente la senal bluetooth y por ende interrumpe la musica o se entrecorta. Debo suponer q es por la baja de bateria, pues al conectar la corriente vuelve a la normalidad. No se arrepentiran, es una joya. Algo me faltaba, le distancia de conexion via bluetooth se menciona dentro del rango de los 10 metros, les comento q estuve transmitiendo musica (en salon) desde el iPhone y me alejaba sin exagerar poco mas de 30 metros y la musica jamas se interrumpio, creo q mucho ayudo el equipo celular, pero de cualquier forma me parecio mas que suficiente, estar a 30 metros y seguir manejando mi musica sin problemas. El costo si es muy elevado, pero los productos de calidad bien lo valen, y este va mas alla de una marca de renombre.
