I used the 2 I bought from Amazon for the rear surrounds and now the rear sound really envelopes you. As another reviewer noted, the drill size for the included masonry mounts (which I believe can be used in drywall also) is wrong and a smaller size down works better. I bought some wall anchors at a local hardware store that are a little more substantial. These are the only mount that should be used for these speakers. Aftermarket ones are cheap and are not made for this particular setup. Do not hesitate to get these mounts.But, they have an extremely cool look and are very simple to install. The instructions take a few minutes to figure out, as there are about three different mounting options and they are only picture diagrams, but when you get past that the installation is a breeze. Once measuring was done, the brackets went up in under 5 minutes each. I cranked the screws down good and tight and nothing stripped or broke. The bracket, like Bose speakers, is high quality and includes a couple of adapter pieces to accommodate vertical or horizontal speakers. There is also provided an adapter piece that snaps onto the back of the speaker. This pieces allows you to fully mount the metal plate and set the vertical and horizontal angle of the bracket without you needing to support the weight of the speaker while tightening the single adjustment screw. Before mounting the speaker, a small decorative piece covers the backing plate. There is even thought given to routing the speaker wire through the bracket and into the speaker with small notches and a hole through which you use the Bose style speaker-wire termination plug.
