The Lord if He has reached out to you through His Word ( The Bible), you have the choice to obey ( believe) or not believe and not go to Paradise. The Jew looks at Jesus as Messiah but expect a earthly king to arise. The Muslim looks to the Iman to arise as one that is like a Christ but will be a political, military force. Many religions are looking for a savior of the world to appear during times of crisis and fear. This won't be a one man false savior. The Pope is know by many to be the Antichrist , as he calls himself Vicar, meaning in place of Christ on the earth. The real Jesus Christ has one purpose. To bring the world to the Savior. Himself. To restore order of the world. To save humanity that has accepted Him as the only Lord and Savior.
The New Testament book of John is the start of the journey. To know Christ is to have life and more abundantly. It is not merely being religious and avoiding sins. It is a commitment to serve and learning to love the Savior and Lord Jesus Christ.
