Most EU parts access is jammed because of the voltage difference between here and the EU. The part shouldnt be too much. You have 8 years of good service from this unit, and I dont see why you cant get another 6-8 years from it. Bosch makes a good product. They OOPS occassionaly, but all manufacturers do.
