"Stupid is as stupid does"

Have you ever heard the phrase "kids say the darndest things"? Well we at aFreeCountry have coined a phrase of our own. Stupid things politicians say. It can be quite annoying to know a thing about an industry or market and have a politician stand up before the people as their protector and eminate his ignorance upon the masses to have to wade through. We feel that people who elect officials as their protectors should be made aware that just because someone ran a successful campaign and even has a college degree stating that the indvidual successfully passed all of his tests, does not indicate that the individual knows anything about the industry that he might be overseeing.

If you have heard something stupid that one of your local politicians have said. Send it to us. We will be happy to include it in these pages. Afterall, a voting society should be an informed society.
