Vuelva a intentarlo en otro momento. It is pretty rugged, but it isn't up to the standards of ATA flight cases. Clearly Boss expected this to be used by mature professionals, or folks who take good care of their toys. I bought this more for the organization rather than protection, but I am 100 certain that this pedal board will stand up to the light to medium abuse I plan to put it through. If you are really hard on your gear, or going on tour, you should definitely look into ATA grade cases. Many people have written about the hinges on this particular pedal board, but there had to be a compromise made in the design, because the pedal board was meant to separate at the hinges, so that you can lay it flat. I could see that after a few hundred times of taking it apart, it may not be the most secure, but it's just an example of a trade off of durability vs convenience. One of my favorite aspects of this pedal board is that all power cords are hidden under a rail, secured with thumb screws, so there is very little clutter from cables. Once you lock down the layout of your pedals, you can secure the cables and never have to deal with tangles, and the usual difficulties working with multiple power cables.http://clinicafootcenter.com/images/boss-bcb-60-manual-espa-ol.pdf This pedal board was meant for use with BOSS pedals, but it can also accommodate wah-wah pedals, double-pedals, and most compact stomp-boxes, as they supply a padding blank, that you can cut to the custom shape of whatever pedal it is you need. The pedal board is pretty well construct. You can see that the materials are pretty good and durable. It's not very light, but I guess this is the cons if you want something durable at this price range. This being said it's not crazy heavy, but do not expect a super light pedal board. As shown in the photos and description of the product, the board includes an AC adapter which allows to connect 6 pedals. It also has 2 channels, for stereo pedals, if you have any, and jack cables come with the board too. This pedal board has made my life more simple. I now have all the pedals in a single spot and already connected. So when I have to play, I just need to connect the board to the electricity and connect one cable to the apli and the other to the guitar. Although I think this is a great product I do have 1 cons, which is the reason why I didn't give 5 stars to the product. The system to attach the pedals to the base of the board is a little bit weak. It basically consists in fitting the pedals in pre-cut holes, which of course are made for boss pedals. You can still use other pedals, but you have to cut yourself the sponge, and when you do that, usually the pedals do not fit perfectly and they start moving around. At the end of the day, it's nothing huge, but it can be annoying to find pedals moved every time you open the pedal board. However, I have used the tape to attach the pedals to the base and it's much better now. Overall I think for the price, this is a good pedal board, with good electronics. I would go for it, unless you want something very light and which has some sort of screw fixing method for the pedals (in that case I also think you should be ready to pay more than this price).http://paymentsbusiness.ca/wp-content/plugins/formcraft/file-upload/server/content/files/1626d25e3c5fe3---calibur-by-kalatel-manuals.pdfOne other thing is that this board has eggshell foam on the inside of the lid to pad your pedals in transit where the the PB600 does not. So I use this to play at church 2 times a week, practice and Sunday services. So the portability is very nice and it's easy to handle in all aspects of the process. It has 7 ports on the chain so I have 6 pedals and a tuner, the board fits everything nicely. I did build my pedals around this board so do keep that in mind. Overall I really do like it for what it is and my current stage of gear it fits my needs perfectly, but there are things where I'm still left wanting, mainly the size, and I realize that this board isn't the end all be all board, but it's great for what it is. At some point I'll have to rebuild a board on something bigger and more fitting a larger set up, but until then.Over all a very neat package to keep your pedals together.Overall I'm very happy don't buy this used if your going to get it buy it new a used one just won't be the same. The built -n power supply is really handy and I haven't noticed any noise problems, it seems good and has plenty of plugs on the chain. The case comes with several good quality patch leads and the input and output sockets allow you to leave everything connected up so that all you need to do when you pull it out is plug in power, guitar and amp and you're ready to go. I pulled out all the supplied foam (a very neat and reusable firm padding) and just put a bed of Velcro on the base. The only improvement I can think of is if the internals were the other way up, i.e. the lid hinged on the other long edge, you could use it without detaching the lid. But the lid goes on and off easily so it's no problem (I don't know how long the lid will continue to attach with the positive clunk you get when it's new though - it's only plastic a nub that pops into a plastic socket). As another reviewer said, the catches on the front feel super feeble but it's not a problem for my home-only use.art-electric.com/userfiles/case-4230-parts-manual.pdf If I was chucking it in the back of a van every weekend I'd probably add a strap or try to rig up some better catches.Gracias por su comentario. Lo sentimos, no hemos podido registrar tu voto. Vuelva a intentarlo When you first get it there is a bit of a 'is that it?' feeling. When you go to install the pedals (it takes up to three) you'll realise it is ridiculously tight. Once pedals are in they ain't going nowhere. This is good from a security point of view but a pain if you want to change pedals frequently. The other issue is that the pedals are so close there is no way to insert or remove jacks once they are in place which generally rules out being able to use battery power. So, as long as you are happy with just three pedals, you have a suitable power adapter, and you have the required strength to get the things in, then overall this is a handy little case and a nice cheap intro to pedalboards.Gracias por su comentario. Vuelva a intentarlo So I looked for pedal boards, but most are large and assume you have about 20 pedals - fine for a lead player but not me. This case is perfect for three pedals, and whilst it is aimed at Boss pedals, my two digitech pedals fit perfectly (you need quite a push to get them in, but once in they are stable and secure). The supplied patch cables are a perfect fit (but if you use stereo pedals you might struggle to get two patch leads in). There is enough room for a wall wart power supply and the whole case snaps shut and is easy to transport. Obviously the board dosnt make my playing any better, but the fact that I can 'turn up, plug in and go' without the usual hassle fo pedals and such like is really good.Gracias por su comentario. Vuelva a intentarlo No issues with the power connectors whatsoever and the patch leads seem pretty good quality.http://bilagroup.com/wp-content/plugins/formcraft/file-upload/server/content/files/1626d25ea79d5e---calico-m951-manual.pdf I would say that the only reason it hasn't got the full 5 stars is that the housing for a larger pedal like a full size wah is all the way to the right which is a bit annoying for a stompbox style tuning pedal which normally goes first in the signal chain - boss intended for the use of their own tuning pedal which would fit nicely into the top right of the box but not a lot of modern tuning pedals are shaped in a way which makes it awkward to set up the pedal chain properly - For now I'm just having wah pedal first followed by tuning and just coping with it!Gracias por su comentario. Vuelva a intentarlo Right? Well, some of my band would question whether I even need a tuner. Cheeky monkeys. Like they're always in tune. Anyway, this is a nice robust pedal board that is just the right size to hold my MXR bass compressor, power brick and Boss tuner nice and securely. It's small and holds just three pedals. If you have all Boss pedals then they simply 'snap' into three 'position slots' and are held securely. Because I have two MXR boxes, I used sticky backed Velcro to keep these secured. Would be nice if Boss produced a compressor like the MXR then I wouldn't have needed the Velcro. But no matter, all three boxes fit in just fine and the case can be set up on stage quickly just by removing the lid.Gracias por su comentario. Vuelva a intentarlo I bought my first Boss pedal in the mid Eighties second hand and have gradually added over the years and now have six. I saw this item on Amazon and it has been a superb purchase. Firstly a massive saving on 9V batteries but the convenience of just being able to plug in and play without having to patch cable and test batteries is great. Just flip the lid of and go!Gracias por su comentario. Vuelva a intentarlo This case houses three of my guitar pedels. I find it just the right size and better for me as it does not take up a lot of space on floor unlike other large pedel boards.http://chicagohalo.com/wp-content/plugins/formcraft/file-upload/server/content/files/1626d25f0edafc---calidus-gyrocopter-manual.pdf If I want to use or add a different pedel from the three already in use I just change one. For example I change my delay for an acoustic simulator or I may change my distortion pedal for blues pedel. May get another to house another three pedels to save changing pedels. Well worth your pocket monies cheers folks at boss and amazon fast delivery tooGracias por su comentario. Vuelva a intentarlo It acts as a solid Absolutely cannot fault this for the price. Excellent product!Gracias por su comentario. Vuelva a intentarlo The Amazon price is also very competitive. I got mine primarily for use with my acoustic instruments and have installed a DD-2 delay, CE-5 chorus and BF-3 flanger. Although switching pedals is relatively easy (they just clip into the moldings) I'm now considering a second one for my electric instruments because is suspect constant inserting and removing of pedals will soon wear the plastic out. The one word of caution I would sound here is that these units really only work with BOSS pedals. I have a couple of other pedals and they simply don't fit in the slots.Gracias por su comentario. Vuelva a intentarlo As long as you stick with boss pedals this works very well. The divisions inside are exactly design to hold standard boss pedals and it works well. It only holds three pedals - but as a bass player I find thats ok, comes with various interconnecting and power leads.Gracias por su comentario. Vuelva a intentarlo Gracias por su comentario. Vuelva a intentarlo There is also spare space to fit the plug transformer for the power supply and a couple of spare power supply cables. Everything fits neatly into this well designed case.Gracias por su comentario. Vuelva a intentarlo My digitech pedals DID NOT fit until I reground out the nodules within the holding beds in the moulded case. Board now works perfectly, but if you don't want to have to modify, then maybe you would be better to only buy this purely for BOSS products as described.argo-naut.com/userfiles/files/case-4230-manual.pdf Case is very robust and the daisy chain and connections included work adequately and with the addition of a power supply bought separately have used this successfully on stage.Gracias por su comentario. Vuelva a intentarlo Room for 3 Boss pedals. Comes with daisy chain power connector and jack to jack connectors. If this fell out the back of the van, I would expect the pedals to be fine.Gracias por su comentario. Vuelva a intentarlo There's plenty of space for a good number of pedals and, most importantly for me, the power cables, patch cables, etc are all tucked away neatly in the trunking. Good, tough construction.Gracias por su comentario. Vuelva a intentarlo. Our payment security system encrypts your information during transmission. Dave 4.0 out of 5 stars The built -n power supply is really handy and I haven't noticed any noise problems, it seems good and has plenty of plugs on the chain. If I was chucking it in the back of a van every weekend I'd probably add a strap or try to rig up some better catches. When you first get it there is a bit of a 'is that it?' feeling. When you go to install the pedals (it takes up to three) you'll realise it is ridiculously tight. So, as long as you are happy with just three pedals, you have a suitable power adapter, and you have the required strength to get the things in, then overall this is a handy little case and a nice cheap intro to pedalboards. It is intended for bedroom or rehearsal use only and the plastic case and quite basic daisy chain power supply shows this. Yes you could gig with it but the fact that the power supply is not isolated individually means you would be unwise to. And Boss do not intend this case to be used like this I suspect. It has long been recognised wisdom if gigging you use a more sophisticated pedal power supply to protect your equipment. So my review is for how it performs using it how it was clearly intended. In a nutshell, it does this superbly. I use it in two ways. 1) A stock 'grab and go' board at home in a quick easy take out and tidy away solution, or to play at rehearsal rooms with ease. 2) Try new pedals and work out new sounds prior to putting that onto a gigging pedal board. Out of the various six or so pedals I have in there at any one time only three are likely to be Boss. The rest could be anything but all will be 9v and at or below the amperage of each individual socket on the daisy chain. And it is this flexibility (within the 9v and amps limits) that this case excels at. It is quick and easy to build a board, whether you are using the foam inserts for all Boss pedals or using velcro instead for other pedal brands, and the self contained power supply and lines in and out are a dream. Some real thought went into how the cables are managed and kudos to Boss for not limiting the design so your only options are Boss pedals. It comes apart easily and the foam inserts are modular meaning you can use together as many or as few Boss pedals and others brands at the same time as you can fit in there. Sure, if you are not using Boss you have to use stick on velcro for security but even if you do this, you can always put the foam inserts back in over the top and swap it all back around whenever you want. Basically they have tried to give you as many options as they can within the constraints of the power supply and overall design. The case offers just enough protection for you moving it around in the scenarios I have described and makes keeping it tidy at home very easy - unplug, shut the lid, stand it up, don't get moaned at. I wouldn't like to test how rugged the case REALLY is beyond accidently dropping it out my car like I did, but nothing broke when I did that. I use the whole signal chain direct into the front of my amp but there are multiple inputs and outputs that allow you to have one group of pedals go direct and another group going into an effects loop too all from the same board. However you run your signal path, it is quiet in use and the voltage and amperage stay very consistent across the whole chain (I measured each output). Yes you will be limited to the amount of power outlets on the daisy chain (7). Yes there are space limitations with the case been enclosed on every side that you wouldn't get with an open sided metal framed pedal board. Made worse by the fact that cabling gets a little tight beyond five pedals too. Yes, the whole case is quite bulky when you compare the footprint you could get with the same pedals on a compact metal framed unit with bottom mounted power supply. Yes the power supply only does 9v and will limit your pedal choices. Yes you are limited to how you are meant to be using the board (not for regular gigging). And no, you can't do anything fancy with the power supply either like charge pumping for 18v or 'voltage sag' to make a pedal sound different. Also, several well known gear journalists frown upon daisy chain power supply solutions rather than individually isolated (and maybe rightly so for gigging). But the Boss pedal case does not pretend it is going to offer anything but what it does and it doesn't pretend to be tough enough for regular gigging, so you have to manage those expectations and think about your planned use. Yes, setting up a 'proper' gig ready pedal board with an isolated power supply is probably just as flexible for swapping stuff around once you have it set up, but in all my years I found it a long process to get through that initial setup. Even for just a few pedals. Which also works out pretty expensive when you add together the pedal board frame, a power supply, cabling, cable management and maybe even a protective case too. This Boss solution for easy setup of a 9v pedal board for 'lite' use, is a dream and I really recommend you consider it if you are building for use within the constraints and expectations this product is meant for and I have outlined. A demonstration of Boss design and thinking at its best. The all in one standard including for current is very convenient. There is however one big design mistake from Boss, as the place for the expression pedal on the right is just 1 or 2 mil to short for the Boss FV 500H. I'll have to mill a bit of metal off either the case or the pedal to make things fit for duty. I didn't expect this between two Boss products. Molto soddisfatto.Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again I only own Boss pedals and I am really OCD, so seeing them all perfectly aligned without any velcro or straps or anything is just so satisfying. Also I love to cable manage my things and I gotta say this case let's you do it however you want it to be. I only see the power cables going to the pedals and the cables to connect the pedals to each other, otherwise everything else is hidden. It looks so clean and well organized. It worth the money!Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again First off, it's a Boss pedal board, so its best suited for Boss pedals. The cutouts in the foam are Boss pedal size ar fit Boss sized pedals to a tee. SIlver pedal just sits on top. Like I said, I'm not a touring guitarist, this product might not be for pros but they know that. Easy to setup, good quality patch cable in 2 sizes. The main reason I wanted this model was built in power. The power cable has more ends than you'll have space for pedals, unless you have mini sized ones. Case is strong resin and as someone noted, it would be better if the case opened on top. Don't know how long the nubs will fit into their groves if you remove and replace cover over and over. Also wish the cavity on top was bigger as I'd rather put the tuner there like the Boss image has.Sorry, we failed to record your vote.
