This remote paired immediately with the soundbar and all button functions worked great. As a side note: This remote comes with a CR2025 battery, rather than a CR2032 that BOSE supplies. After noticing identical voltage specs for both batteries, I tried an on-hand CR2032 as a test. The battery fit and the great performance was identical. This remote is a tiny bit larger than the original, but it's well worth the money.When putting cover back on, put battery in place. It won’t feel like it is secured, but test by turning upside down to see if cover stays in place. Once the battery was in place, the remote worked without further ado. I purchased 2 more!I recommend thisIt's slightly bigger than the original remote, but it has a nice feel to it and looks good, too.
