Jeremy 5.0 out of 5 stars I used to think Bose was the best, then I started looking into it. I played the Pink Floyd Dark side of the moon CD on a normal system (2.1) and then on the Bose. I noticed several instruments that were cut out on the Bose system. They were all higher frequency noises. I then played a Five Iron Frenzy CD that uses a lot of trumpets. It was weird, I could've sworn there were trumpets in it. The Bose CD cut them out. I found out later, these tweeters they use for the cubes are cruddy paper speakers. They try to drive them into the mid-range (not good) and I also took apart a Bose subwoofer from this series while repairing it. I found out they were 3 mid-range speakers that are driven into low frequencies. I noticed one of the had blown the paper speaker and the foam from driving them too low. The paper on the satellite looks manilla, and was very fragile. It reminded me of the speakers you get at radio shack. The system sounds decent, but don't expect to hit all the range of sounds. What really made me wake up is my mom's two infinity bookshelf speakers on a harmon kardonn receiver ended up producing a much wider (and fuller) range of sound. It also sounded better. The bose system tries to trick the ears by using the sub plus the high pitches to equalize and cover the mid-range. This ends up cutting audio quality. I will say, the Matrix (virtual surround) is very good on bose.AYHANCEVIK.COM/images_upload/files/compur-repair-manual.pdf I would suggest replacing the speakers if you do use it for the surround feature. You will hit a much broader range. Not really worth the money. You can hear the difference. I used to be a bose believer, but trust me, take your favorite CD and play it in their show room, you will be sorely disappointed. It's like a used car salesman making you drive the best car on the lot for a test drive then replacing it with the crappiest when you buy. There is a massive difference in audio quality. I would only get one of these again if it were provided free. Don't think I would buy one though. Not good enough frequency coverage. FYI: I am not an audiophile, I just have sensitive hearing. I also love vinyl, but I am not a hipster, I just grew up with it and the warmth of vinyl is awesome provided the record is still in good condition. At that time there was no equal in the marketplace and there was only a Sony stereo system to copy the. HAHAHA. poor little Sony. Only after many years is that the sound systems to other brands is that they approach the bose I have. Yet behind the model Acustimass 9. Everything is good only on my system it fails to be able to decode Dolby Digital and DTS the sistem. I ended up doing a upgreed system, bought Acustimass 30 that was the last model of that series acustimass. In short. the sound and powerful and now has been great. I advise everyone to bose and I already have a system that makes all the difference in the market as did the first Lifestyle 12 system VideoWave.I would buy this tv from Bose but my parents only costs 6,600 euros. A brand that is dedicated only to do the same columns have to be good and a brand like Sony, LG, Samsung and others can not be because they sound good at all sorts of things from the world of electronica. When I was going to buy my home theater system, I listened to at least another 5 systems of other brands and other configurations When I heard the Bose Lifestyle 12, I was impressed.https://optimus.org.au/wp-content/plugins/formcraft/file-upload/server/content/files/1626c0372aee4a---canon-gp-405-user-manual.pdf You definetely get what you pay for; go for it and don't waste your time looking at other brands.
