The result? You hear dramatically less engine noise, and more of your communications. Many pilots say this easy-on-the-head design makes a big difference in how they feel after a long flightA sheepskin cushion eliminates hot spots, and soft ear cushions provide an effective seal, even over glasses. This Bose innovation automatically adjusts the headset's need for power according to the levels of cockpit noise and radio communications.Amazon calculates a product’s star ratings based on a machine learned model instead of a raw data average. Greg M. 1.www.sgestrecho.es/wp-content/plugins/formcraft/file-upload/server/content/files/1626beb2c8ac9d---canon-ixy-31s-manual.pdf0 out of 5 stars Its active noise canceling is a state-of-the-art. It's also excellent in sound quality performance. It's light enough with an excellent clamping force so it is not frustrating or even tiring for the pilot. The only model that is by far better than this one is its successor the Bose A20 that I recently bought. While the A20 is much better, the Bose X is an excellent headset for any general aviation pilot. I would definitely recommend it either you are just starting your flight lessons or you are an instructor. The cord was likely replaced by the seller before it was shipped to me, as it was also in like-new condition. Very happy with the seller.Could not be happier with this purchase !You do have to take the batteries out after each use otherwise they wear out, But really happy with the price. Ear cushions carry a six-month limited warranty against manufacturer's defects. Service. Ordering parts and accessories. The following accessories and customer-replaceable components may be purchased directly from Bose. Original set seemed to be partly glued these didnt seem to need that. Be careful stretching these to fit over the ear cup edges. Start at the top or bottom. I was curious about the date code on the box, but couldnt decipher it. I called Bose and they told me these cushions were manufactured in 2008. Since the model X headset is about that old, they stopped producing the ear cushions then. They are selling off the remaining inventory. Although the X is a backseat headset in my Husky and not heavily used, after a few years the cushions compress and the coating deteriorates. Now they look like new. It takes some patience to install them. I dont think they are gel, but my originals were not either. They are very comfortable. I just wore them for seven hours during my duty time across the Pacific. They are softer, seem to be quieter. Appear to be same as original equipment. Order was easy to place and I received it on time. Very comfortable, feels like the originals. This is the exact replacement for Aviation X headsets and it is perfect. I could not be happier with the product or service. I got over a decade out of mine. Easy to install no tools required, took me less than 5 minutes. I highly recommend ! Cant ask for more than that! Very pleased! Fast delivery. Easy order per description on site. I fly around 150-200 hours per year. In each case, the surface of the ear cushion starts flaking off, leaving black bits stuck to the side of my face, prompting replacement. It would be nice if the material were of a higher, longer lasting quality. No, these will not fit the Bose A20.It says AHX-32-01. Which ear seals do I need. AHX-32-01 is the number for the volume control on a Bose X dual plug headset. The replacement ear seals are part number 11-02783. Yes, the X and A-10 are the same model. My fear is that there will be an update in this 2020, just now that I have bought them. If this happens, is there any possibility of changing, paying a difference?
