Lien against public officials

I have a lien recorded in my state (Iowa) against the sheriff and two of his detectives for committing a theft against me, among other things.I need tp know exactly what it is I need to record at the county level to put teeth into the lien. Anyone here ever done this? Do not want to screw this up. Believe I need to file an Affidavit of Obligation I have been told.

Must file an action in a court of record first

Steve, We do not deal in the UCC, because it si admiralty law. We only deal in the common law. It is the law of the people.

Before you can file a lien against anyone in common law yo must either first get a contract with those agreeing to the lien, as one would do when using property to secure a debt, or win an action at law against those for whom you are attempting to get a lien. You can't just go file a lien without one of these two instances.

So, my first question for you is, have you filed an action at law providing a means to have the defendants fairly judge?
